Communication stitch

Throughout our days, we're bombarded with words to aim towards capital gains by means of public education, higher education, etc. However, experiencing my school days, I've never been formally introduced into what really matters, communication.

I am an IT technician during the day and my years working in this field have taught me that being able to communicate will get you even further than having that next big certification. Don't get me wrong, that certification will get  you somewhere, but if you don't know how to talk to your boss, administration, board, coworkers, colleagues, or anybody of importance, you might as well toss that piece of paper.

Being able to effectively communicate opens up many doorways, more doorways than your average Joe. Effectively communicating grants you the opportunity to push yourself forward without the need to put in extra work.

Recently I've read a book by Peter Murphy, a profound motivational enthusiast, called Always Know What to Say - Easy Ways to Approach and Talk to Anyone(found on Amazon). It details effective tips and tricks on starting a conversation, withholding a conversation, and ending the conversation with absolute confidence. I found this book to be really inspiring because it shows  the absolute importance of communication. I highly recommend you to head over to Amazon to download the free eBook.

All in all, communication is real and it's something we all need to matter. Ineffective communication is what equals conflict. Know how to speak to people effectively, lessen your risk for conflict.
